My Journey

I have been working in the medical field for as long as I can remember, and it is all that I have ever wanted to do. I find peace in scientific reasoning and guidelines. As I ventured further into my career as a Family Practice NP in Urgent Care, I realized that I had two gifts: kindness & skin procedures.

As a dual-certified Nurse Practitioner and Cosmetic Injector, I am honored to help people reflect happiness through tangible changes and results. I am also committed to help my clients by being a caring provider who listens and takes the time to make you comfortable. After 15 years as an RN and 8 years as an NP, I am now dedicating my career to providing caring, evidenced-based, and results-driven med spa services in my hometown of Carmel, IN!

My Approach

My approach as a Nurse Practitioner has always been an interactive one. It is my goal to understand what my clients need and/or want, and then to devise a plan together. It is a conversation. We are a team!

As the owner and injector at The Look Medical Aesthetics, I prioritize personal care for each client. Whether you need a quick Botox treatment during lunch, tighter skin around your mouth, more luscious lips before a vacation, or a sharp jaw line, we will achieve your treatment goal together.

My Expertise

I have been actively practicing as a board-certified NP treating patients as a prescriber and provider since 2018. I have been an RN since 2011 (initially licensed in Chicago, Illinois). Click here to verify my licenses.‍ ‍

I have 5 years of experience in facial injection and skin procedures, local and regional anesthesia injections and nerve blocks, and have a strong background in infectious and procedural dermatology from my years of work with IU Health as a surgical RN, then as a Family & Urgent Care NP.

I have also completed advanced training in medical aesthetics and cosmetic injectables and hold Certifications in toxin and filler procedures from AMET and AACM since 2024.

Nurse Practitioner, 2018 - present: Skilled and highly experienced in urgent care/emergency medicine, dermatology procedures, primary care, and wellness medicine.

Registered Nurse, 2011 - 2018: Extensive experience in general surgery, anesthesia, pediatric intensive care, emergency, and critical care/dialysis.

Geraldine Darroca, MD

Medical Director

Dr. Darroca is a board-certified internal medicine physician with decades of experience in internal medicine, urgent care, occupational medicine, and physician leadership. She also has over a decade of experience as a medical director. She lives in Carmel, Indiana with her husband, Rich. She also has 2 beautiful children and 3 beautiful grandchildren who live locally in Hamilton County!

Matt Hill, CFA, MBA

Matt is an experienced Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and former Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He has decades of experience in both corporate and small-business finance, accounting, investment banking, and finance strategy & operations.

He is also married to owner, Amanda Hill, NP. Together, they have 2 children, Charlie (2015) and Fiona (2019). After years of telling Amanda “you should start your own practice,” she ultimately took his advice!

Sai is an experienced and talented marketing and graphic design specialist. She has spent most of her career navigating the beauty industry and is highly skilled in digital graphic design and social media. She is also an entreprenuer and founded her own company, S.G. Digital Marketing Services. She has been working with The Look Medical Aesthetics since it was founded and provides a clean and delicate look to our marketing and communications. She is originally from Manila, Philippines and has a degree in marketing from Centro Escolar University Official.
